This was the first time that astronauts experienced weightlessness by going into space, that too in a plane, which was like a passenger plane, which was a Soviet airline plane, in which there were two astronauts and some other people with them.

The name of the Soviet airline plane was Tupolev Tu-104, which was a jetliner type plane that could transport 50 passengers.

During the flight, passengers could experience only a few seconds of being in space, which is weightlessness, lasting from 6 to 25 seconds.

Among the cosmonauts who were a part of this flight, two astronauts were preparing for their upcoming missions, whose names were Andrian Nikolayev and Pavel Popovich, who were training for the Vostok 3 and Vostok 4 missions.
