A new video lets us see Starship Flight 10’s splashdown from multiple angles and shows how the vehicle reenters.

This new footage gives us a great look at the final moments of Starship’s latest test flight. This huge rocket, which you are seeing in this video, is being developed by SpaceX so that humanity can be settled on Mars.

You can guess how tall the mega-rocket that will be used in this mission is from the fact that its height is 397 feet (121 meters), which took place during liftoff from SpaceX’s launch site Starbase, which is in southern Texas, on Tuesday evening (Aug. 26).

Almost everything went right in flight 10. Starship’s super-heavy booster and the ship’s upper stage both have achieved their main objectives, with the interesting part being the controlled splashdown of Starship’s upper stage, which happened in the Gulf of Mexico and the Indian Ocean, respectively.

On Thursday afternoon (Aug. 28), SpaceX posted two photos and two videos on its X account, which you can see in the post given below.

For example, you can see the belly of the vehicle, which reveals the golden brown toast that happened during the re-entry of the ship, in which many chunks are missing, including the base, which looks like its ear was lost during the dog fight.

This was the first splashdown of the ship of 2025, which has broken the three previous flights, which were premature, and has made another new record in this test flight this year.

In this flight, the upper stage, which was noted for many other milestones in this flight, 10. For example, it has successfully re-ignited a Raptor engine in space, which was seen in all the previous flights.

It also deployed the payload, which included eight dummy versions of Starlink satellites, which were deployed in space, which no ship has done before.

As we are seeing, SpaceX is breaking its own records and making new records. If the testing continues like this, then Starship will be able to go sooner than its plans for its missions.

SpaceX is hoping for its first trial mission to Mars for its megarocket Starship, which is next year, according to company founder and CEO Elon Musk.
